The Ohio Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTAC) help Ohio small businesses compete for and win federal, state and local government contracts. This statewide network is part of a national network of Procurement Technical Assistance Centers. PTACs match businesses with contract opportunities, help them prepare bids, navigate requirements, and assist them after winning contracts, at no-cost.
“This is a great opportunity for qualified local area small businesses to learn more about selling the services they provide or products they manufacture to the government which spends millions of dollars in the marketplace,” said Kahn.
The Procurement Technical Assistance Program (PTAP) was created by Congress under the Defense Authorization Act (1985). The Ohio Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTAC) program is part of a nationwide network, and is funded by the Ohio Development Services Agency, the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), and partners in local communities.
