This spring, Bowling Green State University’s Popular Culture Scholars Association invites popular culture scholars to share their investigations of collections, curation, and collectors. The Ray Browne Conference for Popular Culture Studies aims to bring scholars of popular culture studies together to consider the meaning of collection, the work of curation, and the objects, meaning, and identities that are visible in scholarship that witnesses and explores the concept of gathering.
