Pizza and Pages: Sweet Biographies

6th - 8th Grade Book Group

Pizza & Pages, a monthly book club for all area 6th-8th graders, is a partnership between Bowling Green City Schools and Wood County District Public Library and is open to all area 6th-8th graders, regardless of school enrollment.

This meeting features an art collaboration with the BGHS Senior Art Studio, in preparation of Melissa Sweet's upcoming visit.

The WCDPL Children’s Place has multiple copies of the pre-selected books. For this month's theme of Sweet Biographies, pick one or more of the following books:

The Right Word: Roget and his Thesaurus by Jen Bryant Brave Girl: Clara and the Shirtwaist Workers' Strike of 1909 by Michelle Markel Some Writer: The Story of EB White by Melissa Sweet Girls Think of Everything by Catherine Thimmesh

Enjoy pizza and a book discussion in the Bowling Green Middle School’s Media Center.
