The Music Thief in Concert

In this concert, The Music Thief, Bowling Green’s Guitar Virtuoso, performs his legendary arrangement of Gustav Holst’s The Planets Suite for solo guitar. This arrangement is just under one hour in length and has seven movements, each depicting a Greek or Roman god or goddess. Each movement reflects a different guitar “superpower,” just as each god and goddess has their own powers, strengths, and symbols.

Thomas Wheeler (The Music Thief) premiered his arrangement in 2020 during his Masters senior recital at Arizona State University, and he looks forward to sharing this unique musical experience within the community. He will also be performing this arrangement at the prestigious Celedonio Romero Guitar Institute this June.
